Abreast in a Boat Society (AIAB) and the False Creek High Performance Dragon Boat Program (FCHPDB) would like to invite you to participate in the

Scotiabank Breast Cancer Challenge Race
and the
AIAB Flower Ceremony

at this year's False Creek Women's Regatta on Saturday, May 29, 2010.

AIAB and FCHPDB share a strong belief in the value of healthy living through exercise and a love of paddling.  It is about women athletes celebrating life in new and exciting ways!

Come join us in beautiful Vancouver for a day in the great outdoors - for competition, camaraderie, entertainment and all-around silliness with the "Best Dressed" team competition.

Description

Getting to the Race Site

By SkyTrain:
The race site is a 1 minute walk from the Main Street/Science World station.
By Bus:
Take the #3 Main, #8 Fraser/Downtown, or the #19 Metrotown/Stanley Park bus. They all stop just outside the race site. Transit information: 604 953-3333 or www.translink.bc.ca.
By Car:

From the east - drive west on Terminal to Quebec.
From the west - drive east on Pacific Blvd. and turn right on Quebec.

Street parking is limited, and may be found along Pacific Blvd., Expo Blvd., Quebec & Terminal, 1st and Ontario. There is also a paid parking lot by Science World.
